Commercial Building Expansion Project in Rome, GA

Phoenix Electrical recently completed electrical installation for a commercial building expansion project in the Rome, GA area. Our professional team of electricians worked collaboratively with the contractors, engineers, and architects to install all the needed grounding, wiring, electrical panels, receptacles, emergency lighting and LED high bay light fixtures for the new portion of the building. We focused on creating a safe, modern, and efficient system to power all the new equipment and operations. Through our expertise and high standard of workmanship, we ensured all electrical work was completed on schedule and in compliance with electrical codes. The client was very pleased with our professionalism, attention to detail, and timely completion of the project. The building can now operate at full capacity thanks to our reliable and durable electrical work.

Making exothermic connections for grounding systems is one important part of our job as a commercial electricians. We fused copper connections for the grounding electrode system of some large steel columns using exothermic welding molds and magnesium alloy ribbons. The welds provide low resistance ground paths to reduce risk of electric shock and equipment damage from surges. After letting the welds cool completely, they are tested with a meter to confirm the connections are secure and will last for years to come.
